Prices and quotes

Prices are in South African rand. No VAT is charged. Check the products, quantities and total before requesting a quote; you can edit the form before sending it. Requesting a quote does not take payment or reserve stock. The calculator gives an approximate filling quantity. Check the written quote and any stated validity period before paying.

EFT and order preparation

Website collection quotes are issued through Polyworks. Use the banking details on your quote and its quote number as the EFT reference. Send proof of payment to sales@polyworks.co.za. We verify payment before preparing the order and confirm when it is ready. A proof of payment is not confirmation that funds have cleared.

The product

Polystyrene beads settle and compress with use. We recommend filling to about 80%. Regrind is a recycled product and varies in particle size and shade from batch to batch. Beads are a choking hazard for small children and pets. Keep them away from open flame.

Collection and delivery

Collection is from Unit 2 & 3, 298 Brander Street, Jan Niemandpark, Pretoria, during the hours shown on the site. Possible delivery in Gauteng is subject to availability and a quote. Bulk bags remain our property and carry a refundable deposit.

Online sack quotes exclude delivery and refill services. A requested collection day, nominated collector or courier arrangement needs workshop confirmation. Wait for confirmation before travelling or booking a courier.

Cancellations, problems and returns

Contact the workshop promptly with your quote number if you need to cancel or change an order, or if goods are incorrect or faulty. We will explain the applicable return and refund process. These terms do not limit rights that apply under South African consumer law. Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act cooling-off right applies, goods may be cancelled within seven days of receipt, subject to the Act’s exceptions; the direct return cost may apply and qualifying refunds are due within 30 days of cancellation.

Privacy

We use the name, phone number, email address, products and instructions you provide to prepare and send quotes, respond to enquiries and arrange your order. Delivery details are needed only when arranging delivery separately. Required form fields are needed to provide the requested quote; special instructions are optional. Do not include passwords, card details, identity documents or unnecessary information about other people. A quote request does not subscribe you to marketing.

The workshop helper currently uses preset answers. Questions and recent conversation context are sent to the website server to answer you. We have not enabled a separate conversation research log or paid AI service. Avoid private or payment information in chat. If you choose WhatsApp or email, the information you send is also processed by those services.

Services and security records

Vercel hosts the website. Zoho Books receives your quote details, including optional instructions, to create and email the document. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical browser information for spam prevention. Upstash stores request references, quote identifiers and keyed hashes used for duplicate prevention and request limits. The application does not put raw names, phone numbers or email addresses in that request store. Our Upstash database is in the USA; service providers may process information outside South Africa.

Rate-limit counters expire after 24 hours. Product-popularity records cover the previous 30 days and inactive popularity sets expire after 31 days. Duplicate-prevention records have no automatic expiry, so an old retry cannot accidentally create or email another quote. Business quote, accounting and correspondence records may need to be kept for order administration and legal obligations; contact us about a particular record.

Product popularity and cookies

A popularity label counts separate successfully emailed website quotes that include a product, rather than the number of sacks requested. Tests are excluded. We show a label only with enough activity and a clear leader. This is quote interest, not a sales or quality ranking. The site has no advertising pixels, advertising cookies or public online-visitor counter. Spam protection and infrastructure providers may use technical storage needed to operate their services.

Your information and requests

Contact info@beanbagfilling.co.za to ask what information we hold about you, request access or correction, or raise a deletion or processing objection. We may need to verify your identity and explain any records we must retain. You may also contact the Information Regulator of South Africa about a privacy concern.
